Fox and Charter have an agreement to carry the Fox networks that Charter has chosen to ignore. We’re disappointed that despite our best efforts to reach a resolution, Charter Spectrum subscribers could lose access to multiple Fox sports and entertainment networks. Charter’s tactics could result in its subscribers missing our popular programming including Fox Sports’ telecasts of the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds and many other MLB teams on Fox Regional Sports Networks, Fox Deportes, National Geographic, and FX’s returning hit show, The Strain, as well as the premiere of Snowfall.Plus, much more award winning programming.
What programming could I lose?
Charter Spectrum subscribers could lose many Fox sports and entertainment networks, including Fox’s regional sports networks and Fox Deportes, along with the networks of FX, and National Geographic. Sports fans could miss key MLB action. Charter Spectrum subscribers could also lose access to hit entertainment shows like The Americans and programs from National Geographic.
Which FOX Regional Sports Networks (RSNs) could be impacted?
FOX Sports Florida, FOX Sports Sun, FOX Sports Kansas City, FOX Sports Midwest, FOX Sports Ohio, FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Southwest and many others.
I am a Time Warner Cable / Bright House Networks customer. Am I impacted?
Yes, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks subscribers are now Charter Spectrum customers because of Charter’s acquisition of those companies.
When did Time Warner Cable become part of Charter?
In May 2015, it was announced that Charter would be acquiring Time Warner Cable. One year later, in May 2016, the acquisition was complete. The companies now operate as Charter Spectrum. Time Warner Cable subscribers automatically became customers of Charter Spectrum.
